Well last week it was a case of close but not much of a cigar. All 6 of our picks made the cut and Saturday evening we had all of our picks in the top 20. That said it was quite a crazy tournament with at 1 point there was a 5 shot difference between 1st and 40th.
The tournament needed to go to 5 extra playoff holes before an eventual winner was found. Aldrich Pogieter finally emerged the winner beating FG pick Max Greyserman after holing an 18ft putt on the 5th extra hole. Those of you who have been following for a while will remember Max was leading by 5 on the back 9 of the Wyndham only to capitulate and let Aaron Rai take the spoils. Max is too good not to win soon but it’s disappointing he didn’t get over the line whilst picking him.
