Not your typical week on the PGA tour,
We head to TPC Louisiana for the Zurich Classic. A pairs tournament, Each team will play two rounds of best ball on Thursday and Saturday and two rounds of alternate shot on Friday and Sunday, with only the low 33 teams advancing to the weekend.
Grand Slam winner Rory Mcilroy Tees it up with good friend and fellow Irish man Shane Lowry to defend their title.
Interestingly, 3 sets of brothers tee it up. The English Fitzpatricks, The Danish Hojgaard twins and the German Paul brothers.
It’s always about value but typically anything can happen, especially when you are relying on your partner in the alternate shot format. Match play specialists and Walker Cup/Ryder Cup players certainly will have some advantage.
