The Wyndham Championship is traditionally the curtain closer and marks the end of the regular season before the Fedex cup play offs. Those fortunate enough to be able to take the week off have done so, leaving the field open for some notables and players on the bubble to stake a claim for their spot in the playoffs. Securing a top 70 spot also secures playing rights for the 2025 sesaon for those who have not already done so.

The Wyndham Championship returns for it’s 16th year at the Donald Ross Designed Sedgefield Country Club, In Greensboro, North Carolina.
The course has small, speedy Bermuda grass greens that feature the typical Ross shaved run-off areas along the edges, making scrambling a vital element. During this week’s play, accuracy off the tee is more important than driving distance.
Hurricane Debbie has been impacting the area and whilst towards the end of the week the forecast is calm, the ground conditions will likely to be softer than normal, making it a bit more playable.
