The PGA Tour is staying in Hawaii for the second consecutive week, with the 2025 Sony Open kicking off at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu on Thursday, whilst last weeks field was in total 59, this is the first full field of 2025 with 144 entrants. Hideki Matsuyama is following record breaking 35 under victory at Kapalua last week, marking his 11th PGA Tour win. This achievement has elevated Matsuyama to No. 5 in the Official World Golf Ranking, making him the highest-ranked golfer participating in the 2025 Sony Open.
Preview
Sadly, There will be no defending champion as last years winner Grayson Murray passed away last May.
After his record breaking win last week at the Sentry Matsuyama tops the list of favourites at 10/1 followed by course form favourite Corey Conners at 16/1. Considering that this is a full field event (144), neither of these prices excite us from a value perspective.
As usual, we are looking for value in the market. After extensive research, below are our value predictions for the tournament.
