We didn’t predict last week due to the tournament and course being new to the rota. At this time of year the big guns tend to take a rest which provides opportunity for the rest of the tour to get a head start on next years FedEx and to gain valuable ranking points for their PGA Tour card.
It was an interesting tournament and many of our favourites featured. The next big thing from the Korn Ferry Matt McCarthy prevailed. He has been on our radar for a while and given confidence is a big thing in golf, It won’t surprise you to know he will feature this week.
The wrap around season continues with the the Shriner’s Children’s Open.
It is traditionally held at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. Known for its intriguing layout and desert backdrop, TPC Summerlin offers a par-71 course that spans approximately 7,255 yards.
