As the dust settles on the 2024 season, we’re pleased to report another great year of performance.
At half year, we reported a profit of 323 points, with a return on stakes invested of 56%, bolstered by 7 outright winners from the first 24 events we previewed.
By the time the season was over, this had increased to 425 points profit and a return of 46%. Had you been brave enough to back our picks win only, the return was even more impressive at 61%, although we know this level of volatility is not for everyone!
Whilst the second half of the season was not quite as stellar as the first, we managed to add another couple of outright winners in consecutive weeks in July, with Robert MacIntyre memorably winning his home Open at 40/1 and Xander Schauffele securing his second major of the season at Royal Troon at 14/1. The latter part of the season was a disappointment compared to the highs of the February-to-July period, with only the WWT Championship (where we secured three places from four picks) notably adding to the bank. But the profits we’d built earlier in the year were more than sufficient to withstand that late-season dip in results and leave us with very healthy numbers as the season ended.
Since starting out in late 2021, we’ve now hit a total of over 1250 points of profit – more than doubling the bank in just over three years for anyone who followed our staking advice of using 1/1000th of the bank per point.
We look forward to continuing to deliver consistent profits into 2025 and beyond.
