Last week review:
Patrick Cantlay was the only one of our 4 selections to feature in the end at the RBC last week, and as our headline pick we advised 5 units on a place at +2500. He finished T8 alongside four others. If your bookmaker paid Top 10 with ties, you would have made a small profit; without ties, you likely ended up around break-even. Cantlay certainly added some drama, bogeying 15 and 18, and while the price was attractive, he’s never been a classic FormGolfer favourite.
Now we shift our focus to the Zurich Classic, where we enjoyed success last year with champions Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin. Here’s hoping lightning strikes twice.
Preview
The 2026 Zurich Classic promises another exciting week of team golf at TPC Louisiana, a course defined by wetlands, wind, and strategic shot‑making. With a $9.5M purse, a strong field, and a format that rewards chemistry as much as skill, the event remains one of the most entertaining stops on the PGA TOUR calendar. Recent winners show that both elite pairings and breakthrough teams can triumph, making this one of the most unpredictable tournaments of the year. Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin return to defend.
