After the elation of our stellar performance at the US Open it was a case of what could have been at the the Travelers. At one point Akshay Bhatia hit the front and we were getting more than a bit excited at him winning at 90/1. Sadly, he capitulated on the back nine to a point where his T5 meant his place odds(18/1) were diluted with a couple of others. A late charge by Brian Harman nearly made the top 6 also.
Whilst we rue the “If only’s” it only serves to confirm what we have always been about and that’s “Value”. A diluted place for Bhatia was still twice as profitable that a Scottie outright win.
